This is were SnowFlame is staying, its not really a secret base or anything. He owns it. Ha ha 70s shag carpet, way to beat the stereotype, SF.
Also, I went to the El Paso Comic Con this weekend. I had a fun time and got to get art advice from comic pros Andy Kuhn and Nei Ruffino. They were very kind and had lots of great advice I can now use to make the comic even stronger.:)
I’m sorry for the lack of updates for the past week and a half. I’m crunching right now to make an art deadline. After the 31st, I’ll be back to work on more Snowflame pages, and they’ll be better than ever, (mostly because I’ve now figured out the perspective rulers in Manga Studio.)
Two posts ago I mentioned I was interviewed at MIX by Evan Pedersen of Fancy Pants Gangsters. All the interviews are here, nicely divided into categories so you can get a clear picture of the different types of artists who were there. I’m in part 7, “More Indie Than Indie.” The interview starts at about 6:00, and mention of Snowflame starts at about 7:30. Feast your ears on my dorky voice and Mr. Pedersen’s awe and disbelief at Snowflame’s existence! Find it here.
